Thank you for booking an appointment with me at The Garden Herbalist.
First of all you need to find me....
There is a map on the website. Please note we are at Milton of Balgonie, not Coaltown of Balgonie. Like many small villages, the numbers can be erratic but we have a few good landmarks to watch out for.
From the Glenrothes end as you drive through you will see a gap site on the LHS, we are opposite this old closed woodyard. We have an extended sandstone cottage that his been built up and back, with double gates. The next house along (to our east) is a pink cottage with butterflies on the wall and stone Lions outside. Diagonally opposite is the village pub (sadly closed at present).
If you can park on the opposite side of the road to the house (unless we have made arrangements for you to park on the mono block drive) this should avoid congestion.
Please be mindful that the village is on a busy bus route and most people tend to park on the north side of the road to allow traffic to flow smoothly.
And then I need to let you in....
As I work from home I don’t have a receptionist and we keep the gates to the garden locked at all times.
So please park up and wait for me to either send you a text to let you know I am ready for you, or I will come to the gate and give you a wave.
I have spaced my appointments further apart so I am hoping to be able to run clinics to a good time schedule.
If you are running late please drop me a message via WhatsApp or Text to let me know.
And if for any reason you need to cancel please do give me as much notice as possible.
We are set up to take card payments and can also take cash payments as well. We take your mobile number and email at the time of booking for appointment reminders.
Once you have registered with us we can also set you up on our payment system. If you are ordering repeat prescriptions it is much easier to ping over an automated invoice for this.
I look forward to seeing you soon at The Garden Herbalist and welcoming you to my herbal clinic and food sensitivity testing service.
